“ I've passed this place a thousand times and finally decided to give it a try last night, especially since you can smell the barbecue wafting from down the street. I tried the chicken and rib combo with rice and beans and ordered a side of vegetables (cabbage and carrots). The portion size was very fair, and I was pleased with the meat to rice/beans ratio since some places overload you with rice! I thought the meat was fantastic, tender, and had great flavor. For an extra charge, I purchased garlic sauce, and it was absolutely perfect for dipping the meat in. It also took the rice and beans up another notch! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the vegetables. They were boiled and had no seasoning, plus there was still a little bit of water in the container, so the veggies weren't as crisp as I'd prefer. I paid extra for the vegetables, but next time, I'll pass and stick with the two sides included with the meal. Otherwise, it was a great dinner and enough for lunch today (and maybe tomorrow). ”
